Specification

Stage 1: 6 filters + UV and pump (Frame or wall-mounted versions)

The modular system has been designed with no installation required - it’s a plug and play design. You must RUN THE SYSTEM FOR TWO MINUTES TO FLUSH OUT ANY CONTAMINANTS BEFORE FILLING YOUR TANK! Also ensure that you chlorinate your water using around 1-2 tea spoons per 1000 litres of water or use a tablet.

🌿 7 stage filters including pre-filter, sediment, heavy metal and oil removal 🔆 2 x 16w UV filter to kill any remaining micro-organisms. Filter rate up to 15 litres per minute. OR an LED UV unit which comprises of one higher spec smaller cannister. 🔍 Filters down to 1 micron or 0.01 microns (depending on config) ⚡ 230vac Power supply consuming max 250w or 12v consuming the same 💦 Flow rate of 6-12 litres per minute depending on height / filter condition 📏 H45 x W60 x D 30cm (new unit released Jan 2024) 🏋️‍♂️ 20kg 🕊️ Filter cartridges are cheap to source and universally available. 🚱 Not for drinking unless configured for it (with nitrate removal and UF and higher grade carbon block) 🌊 Not for filtering brackish or salt water

⚠️ If your pump stops working or your flow decreases, this is indicative of the sediment filter needing to be replaced! Give them a check and see if they look clogged (very brown through to the centre).

⚠️ For the LED UV unit, make sure that the BLUE LIGHT is on as it indicates it is working. For the non-LED UV unit, there is a green light indicating it’s working

⚠️ Some jubilee clamps might need tightening form time to time - this is normal - the hoses need time to wear in. Units cannot always be wet-tested before sending out due to postage rules over liquids and so on so please bear this in mind.

Stage 2: Under sink or whole boat / house water system

The under sink system is designed to purify water coming from your water tanks. It’s easy to install with John Guest fittings and hose connectors - you bypass your tank water AFTER your water pump through to the rest of your boat - or if under your sink, you can either connect it to a dedicated drinking water tap or fit with existing cold tap. The chlorine that you added to your tank will be removed (unless you’ve added too much!)

🌿 3 stage system including nitrates removal, chlorine and fine particle 💦 Flow rate depends on installation type. Recommend a dedicated tap. 🔍 Filters down to 0.01microns 📏 H45 x W45 x D 15cm (minimum required)

⚠️ Whilst Ultra filtration does generally produce drinkable water, you’re advised to test it using lab tests if you can. We can’t guarantee end quality of water due to the variability in source water and any user error in changing filters - please make sure that your filters are properly fitted with seals and the right way up! You’ll also need to conduct basic checks and maintenance to ensure that all the hose clips and hoses are properly tightened as these can loosen over time. We don’t like disclaimers but unfortunately necessary! If in doubt, get a Reverse Osmosis system for us to give you peace of mind.

⚠️ If your pump stops working or your flow decreases, this is indicative of the Ultrafiltration filter or carbon filter most likely needing to be replaced.

⚠️ If you’ve got a black carbon block filter immediately prior to your Ultra Filtration module, make sure that you flush it first (without the UF module in place) as residual carbon can be released and clog the UF module if this isn’t done (meaning you have to clean it or get a new one)

Final Stage RO system

The Final Stage Reverse Osmosis system is designed to ensure that your filtered water or tap water is even cleaner but then remineralises it so that it’s healthy to drink. There’s a Total Dissolved Solids monitor too.

🌿 Reverse osmosis + remineralisation 💦 Flow rate is 1.6lpm ⚡ Power requirements - either 230v or 12v with a buck converter - the unit is 24v. Very low standby consumption of 1.4w and 75w when in use. 🔍 Filters down to 0.0001UF + remineralisation 📏 H43 x W13 x D45

⚠️When you first set up the unit, the initial water may be a little bit brown and that’s totally normal so make sure you run it for 10 minutes to flush it out!
